BENEFIT & PADDLE OUT

TO PROMOTE SEA LIFE PROTECTION AND ENVIORNMENTAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: SURFAID INTERNATIONAL, SAVE THE WAVES COALITION, AND SURF RIDER FOUNDATION.
SAN FRANCISCO- The “It’s About Sea Life” benefit will take place at the Aquarium of the Bay on Friday, November 21st from 6:00pm - 12midnight. Tickets are now on sale for $75 at www.itsaboutsealife.org. The following Saturday morning, November 22nd, 8:30am, there will be a paddle-out at Crissy Field East Beach parking lot. The paddle-out is free to the public. The proceeds from the events will benefit the non-profit organizations – SurfAid International, Save the Waves Coalition and Surfrider Foundation.
At the Friday, November 22nd benefit, the three named non-profit organizations will show short videos about their ongoing environmental efforts. The night will also include access to the Aquarium of the Bay and an ocean-themed silent auction.
The morning after the benefit, November 22nd, at 8:30am, local surfers, ocean conservationists, and animal & life lovers, will perform a ceremonial paddle-out at Crissy Field. This will be an ocean ritual to offer prayers for all the creatures of the ocean and for protection of sea life in general.
The paddle-out will be followed by an opportunity to speak to the different sea life protection and environmental non-profit organization representatives about their causes and quest to preserve the ocean and sea life.
Celebrity guests, musicians, artists, designers and pro-surfers are expected to attend. Local bands are expected to play at the benefit. Tickets will be distributed via www.itsaboutsealife.org and designated shops. Please visit website to learn more about the events.
